Women on Wheels 2017

pastedGraphic.pdf

Hello everyone.  My name is Rosalind Wright and I have been working with a number of other wonderful cyclists to coordinate your 2017 WOW schedule.  Our beloved founder and leader Shelley Johnson will hopefully join us on some rides and has asked me to take over the reigns for her (or is it handlebars) in the interim.  I hope the schedule will offer something for everyone from the first time user to the experienced cyclist.   New this year, and we are very excited about it, is Colette Smith's  WOW group in Glace Bay.  So there will be two (2) WOW cycling groups beginning May 30th.   The WOW schedule is by no means complete.  There is still room for workshops and more rides.   So if anyone has anything in mind, let Colette or me know so we can post it on the WOW Facebook site and of course the website.

If you are new to cycling, the first class is for you.   We will get you started right away to get you on the road;  from how to fit your helmet, to hand signals, to  proper cycling skills.   To learn more email me below.

I'm fairly new to WOW, so I look forward to meeting you, working with you, and learning from you.  I have had such a great time and I would encourage others to join.  It's a great way to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, meet like minded women, and have some laughs.  The great thing is we all help and encourage one another.  WOW is for women who share an interest in cycling at all levels and abilities.  It is women mentoring other women, creating a fun and safe environment while promoting safe and smart cycling.  So ladies, let's fill the trails and roadways with a sea of pink this summer.
