Bike Week Event – Bicycle Rodeo for children ages 5 – 12
Hosted by Velo Cape Breton in partnership with the CBRM, this Bicycle Week Event is free for children ages 5 – 12 and will take place in Open Hearth Park.
The Bicycle Rodeo will teach children safe cycling skills using skill-building exercises and obstacle courses. This event will also include a bike and helmet fitting, bicycle decorating, and the chance to win some exciting prizes, including a new bicycle donated by Velo Cape Breton! Other prizes include several helmets and bells, donated by our sponsor the Cape Breton Credit Union!
All children must be accompanied by an adult and must bring a properly-fitted bicycle and helmet to participate.
