Catalone to Louisbourg Coastal Loop

Join Micheline and friends on Canada Day for a beautiful ride along the coast to the Fortress of Louisbourg!

Meet at the Irving in Catalone on Highway 22. The ride will start at 10:00am. Ride through the coastal communities of Main-a-Dieu and Little Lorainne along paved low-traffic roads. Continue on to the Fortress of Louisbourg for lunch. Park entrance is free on Canada Day, just be sure to bring money for lunch! After lunch, follow Highway 22 along the paved shoulder back to Irving in Catalone. The total route will be approximately 51km total.

For an optional shorter route, depart at 10:00am from Irving in Catalone and continue on Highway 22 to Louisbourg for lunch. Return back along the same route for a total distance of 31km.
